Yule

When you think of December you likely think of Christmas trees, nativity scenes, excessive amounts of gifts, and Christmas carols. But what came first? What influenced the traditions that come with undeniable pagan roots? We're going to explore the folklore and rituals associated with Yule and it'll be weird and dark and wild. We're going to cover Santa and shamanic mushrooms, the Wild Hunt, sacred nights, mystery cults, potent herbs, the Christmas witch and so much more. 

I hope this class will ignite an ancient thread in us; a return to lore and traditions we've lost in the rise of christianity. Even if you come just for the hell of it, it'll absolutely be a fun, interesting, thorough uncovering of some great folklore.
