The History and Archetype of The Witch

This is a companion to the original Witch class (but without the influence of an author and researcher who has since identified as a TERF). In this class, we cover some FACTS: the origin and spread of the great witch hunt, the motivator behind the persecution of women/witches, and insight into the men who fueled this atrocity. And then we visit the archetype of the Goddess Diana as well as the purpose of magic throughout all of our human history. We eventually end up exploring the ancient practice of Sitting-Out or Hedge-Riding, and all along the way we acknowledge and name the ways whiteness, patriarchy, and colonialism have stolen from us. This is a class that names, challenges, and softens our edges. This is a class that calls us home to the true seat of our human nature, which is nature itself.
