Deconstructing The Witch

Following the work we did to deconstruct the myth of Eve and her connection to The Goddess, we’re taking another dive into dismantling patriarchy from our own lives. This time we’re deconstructing the archetype and myths of the witch by exploring the anthropological perspective of this particular history, how it relates to the war waged on women in the Old Testament, and what those ancient, overlapping stories can teach us about how we reclaim the witch in ourselves.

We’re looking at the works of Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Max Dashu, Charles Godfrey Leland, and more. This is our second round of a deep dive into questioning everything we’ve always been taught and every wanderer is welcome at the table. All gender expression, all sexuality, all weird and wild paths through spirituality are invited. Come as you are, leave with a broader view of the world, humanity, and the divine.
