The Bible’s Defense of Transgender People

I did this video as a live feed inside the Wild Spirituality group on Facebook in 2018. I was still early in my self education on trans inclusive language, so I recognize that it's easy to spot that lack of education a few times in the video. My understanding of the different ways trans and non binary people express and identify themselves is messy, so I'm pointing this out now in the hopes others will learn from it as well. This video is an exploration of what the christian bible actually says about transgender people. Spoiler alert: it doesn't say anything non affirming about them at all. However, the Genesis myth DOES create representation for all people - specifically including trans, non binary, and intersex people. If you are a christian who rejects trans people based on the Bible, this is a great place for you to start digging into your own self education with the Bible as a resource.
